How to order back issues of the newsletter

Membership is annual, from January 1 to December 31. New members receive all issues, 2/year, of The Dameron-Damron Family Newsletter for the calendar year in which the membership is received (if received before December 1, unless otherwise requested).  Annual membership dues are used to cover the cost of printing, preparing and mailing the Dameron-Damron Family Newsletter. Renewal of membership is due each fall.

*The dues of Sustaining members and  Patrons above the basic $15.00 are used for research, operating expenses, or other expenses consistent with the purposes of the organization.

NOTE: The Dameron-Damron Family Newsletter is published in the Spring (March/April) and Fall (September/October) of each year by the Dameron-Damron Family Association.  Current membership is for the 2006 calendar year.

NOTICE TO MEMBERSHIP

The DDFA board has vacancies which should be filled soon. This
is a great opportunity to play a role in our quarter-century old
organization.  The next several months will find the board discussing
just how the organization will be progessing. Some changes are
definitely in the works.

A board member should be able to "attend" a monthly online meeting.
(We are using AOL's AIM which is a free IM service which permits us
to open a chat room for our meetings.)  At the moment, this meeting
is on the second Wednesday at 8:00 EST each month.  However, the time
can be adjusted to accommodate the members when necessary.

A board member should be able to participate in some manner rather
than simply joining the chat room meeting.  Essentially, the board is
ultimately responsible for the publication of the newsletter,
managing the finances, arranging an annual meeting/reunion of the
membership, and generally keeping DDFA functioning and moving forward.

DDFA members are interested in "running" for the board, please

Vols. 1 & 2 (combination): $7.50
Vols. 3 - 45 (latest issue, Fall 2006):  $7.50 each  (Vols. 46 & 47 are received only with 2008 membership)

    (All volumes are available although some earlier numbers are in photocopy or computer printout form only!)

Please, DO NOT, place requests for overnight delivery.   This is not practical as I usually cannot  provide the required attention.  Remember that this is a volunteer operation with no business facilities.  I will attempt to fill orders a promptly as possible under usual circumstances.

Presently, copies of individual articles are not available.

The years 1995 and 1996 were combined into a 1995/1996 membership with two 1995/1996 newsletters, volumes 28 & 29. The years 1997 and 1998 were combined into a 1997/1998 membership.

The Dameron-Damron Family Association publishes the Dameron-Damron Family Newsletter two times per year.  Though concerted efforts are made to publish only factual material, neither the association nor its members are responsible for errors of fact or judgment which may appear in printed in the newsletter. We reserve the right to edit all material submitted.
